Lakepoint was developed by Ritchie Associates and was indeed an overnight success. The area is split in half by a tiered lake that was created by the developer, as it had been a natural drainage area from the runoff of Beech Lake. The first area to be developed was that area West of the lake called Woodland Estates at Lakepoint. These 54 lots were sold in 24 hours. The homes are all custom built and rarely come on the market.
